Speaking to FinextraTV at Sibos 2023, Lavinia Bauerochse, Global Head of ESG, Corporate Bank, Deutsche Bank shared how the trend towards sustainable business models is not simply prevailing to make a positive impact, but also to unlock significant business opportunities in the green space. Banks are supporting companies on this sustainable journey, helping them structure their KPIs, coordinating ESG metrics and facilitating investment financing to fund the transition.

There is, however, more to be done. Keeping up with regulatory changes, and the shift towards the real economy and transition finance are next steps for the sector. And mobilising private capital is key to fund the transition towards a green, sustainable economy for all.
