The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) confirmed in February 2022 that the US market would shorten the settlement cycle from T+2 to T+1 by no later than the first half of 2024. In our second video of our Road to Sibos campaign in partnership with Global Custodian, we take a closer look at the market structure changes in the US as we draw nearer to that May 2024 deadline, drawing on insights from Kamalita Abdool, our Head of Securities Services, Americas and Global Custodian Coverage.
